{"id":9240,"date":"2023-01-25T06:20:35","date_gmt":"2023-01-25T11:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infomercado.net\/ecuador\/?p=9240"},"modified":"2023-01-25T06:19:27","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T11:19:27","slug":"ecuador-importo-7-646-millones-en-combustibles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infomercado.net\/ecuador\/ecuador-importo-7-646-millones-en-combustibles\/","title":{"rendered":"Ecuador import\u00f3 $7.646 millones en combustibles"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>importaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de di\u00e9sel, gasolina y gas licuado de petr\u00f3leo representa, adem\u00e1s, un <strong>aumento del 69% <\/strong>frente a 2021 cuando ese gasto sum\u00f3 <strong>$4.523 millones<\/strong>, seg\u00fan Petroecuador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El alza del precio del petr\u00f3leo, impulsado por la invasi\u00f3n de <strong>Rusia a Ucrania<\/strong>, explica, en parte, ese mayor gasto. De hecho, el petr\u00f3leo WTI, de referencia para Ecuador, borde\u00f3 los <strong>$94 por barril<\/strong> en promedio en 2022. Es decir, <strong>$26 por barril m\u00e1s<\/strong> que el promedio de 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Factores para una mayor importaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero no solo ha influido el <strong>alza internacional<\/strong> del precio del petr\u00f3leo, sino una <strong>mayor importaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de di\u00e9sel para hacer frente al severo estiaje que atraviesa Ecuador desde octubre de 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El actual estiaje, que se extender\u00e1 hasta marzo de 2023, <strong>redujo en 42%<\/strong> la generaci\u00f3n hidroel\u00e9ctrica de las ocho principales centrales ubicadas en la cuenca oriental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En ese contexto, el uso de di\u00e9sel 2 en el sector el\u00e9ctrico se <strong>duplic\u00f3<\/strong>, al pasar de 270.455 barriles en 2021 a <strong>540.466 barriles<\/strong> el a\u00f1o pasado, lo que elev\u00f3 la importaci\u00f3n de este producto, sostiene el portal Primicias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para 2023 es de prever que el gasto en la <strong>importaci\u00f3n de combustibles<\/strong> se modere, aunque la cifra seguir\u00e1 siendo alta, de <strong>$7.347 millones<\/strong>, proyecta el Banco Central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-licitacion-campo-amistad\">Licitaci\u00f3n campo amistad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La preocupaci\u00f3n es tal que el Viceministerio de Electricidad pidi\u00f3 a la empresa p\u00fablica Petroecuador acelerar la licitaci\u00f3n del <strong>Campo Amistad<\/strong>, que produce gas natural en el <strong>Golfo de Guayaquil<\/strong>. Esto porque la baja producci\u00f3n de gas natural llev\u00f3 a adecuar<strong> Termogas Machala<\/strong> para que opere tambi\u00e9n con di\u00e9sel, lo que eleva los costos de producci\u00f3n de electricidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aunque en enero increment\u00f3 el nivel de lluvias, el estiaje no ha sido superado. Y, es de prever que el nuevo estiaje, que comienza en octubre de 2023 y se prolonga hasta marzo de 2024, coloque, dependiendo de su agresividad, \u201cal sector el\u00e9ctrico en una posici\u00f3n de vulnerabilidad\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En 2022, Ecuador import\u00f3 el 70% de combustibles que consume su mercado interno, lo que represent\u00f3 un costo de $7.646 millones.
